About this hotel

Situated in the middle of all the action and adventure the Black Hills have to offer, the quaint Town Hall Inn has had many different incarnations over the years. Originally constructed as Leads town hall in 1912, the ornate building held many functions, including the mayors and treasurers office, court room, jail, judges chambers and even gallows, which were directly behind the building. On top of that, the Homestake Mining Company housed their general offices in the building for nearly 50 years. The twelve rooms, with names such as Prosecution, Mayor’s Office and Auditor’s Office, each contain a flat screen TV, a microwave, a small refrigerator and an en suite bathroom. There’s also an array of lovely antique stores, eateries, museums, art galleries and the Historic Homestake Opera House all located on Leads Maine Street. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
