Jugendherberge Burghausen

Free Wi-Fi in public areas and a games room are offered by this modern hostel, located in Burghausen old town. Set in a spacious park, it is only a 5-minute walk from the medieval Burghausen Castle. The bright rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms also come with a balcony. A buffet restaurant serving healthy breakfasts and evening meals is available at the hostel, as well as vending machines for hot drinks and snacks. Packed lunches can even be made on request. Half board and dinner can be booked onsite. Jugendherberge Burghausen’s large recreational area is ideal for activities such as table football, air hockey, and table tennis. There is a courtyard with castle views and an outdoor area for children. Burghausen’s historic Old Town is 2 km from the hostel and the Austrian border is 100 metres away. Please note that guests must be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Federation) or Hostelling International. Temporary membership can be purchased on arrival at the property. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22,50 per year. Please be aware the hotel is under construction from October August 2015.
