Hotel Schlosswirt

In the heart of Scena, family-run Hotel Schlosswirt offers a shared mountain-view terrace and an à la carte restaurant. The spacious rooms with South Tyrol-style décor include a satellite TV. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet of cold cut and jam, but also local dairy produce and egg dishes. Regional and Mediterranean gourmet specialities can be sampled in the restaurant. Rooms come with a seating area, carpeted or tiled floors, and a mini-fridge. Some face the mountains. During summer, you can swim in the heated outdoor pool, and enjoy a drink from the bar. A public ski bus to the Valley ski lift station of the Merano 2000 ski area stops opposite the Schlosswirt. Trekking tours can be booked at reception. A public bus passing right outside the property takes you to Merano Station. Central Merano is a 10-minute drive away. Please note the restaurant is open from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 until 21:30. It is closed on Mondays. The bar is open from 07:30 to 24:00, and it is closed on Mondays. The pool is open from 15 April to 15 September, depending on weather conditions. Trekking tours are at extra costs.
