In the prestigious seaside village of Scopello, which overlooks the Faraglioni rock-stacks and the ancient Tonnara 300, metres below, this elegant hotel is also close to the enchanting Nature reserve of Lo Zingaro. The hotel is well situated for visiting the most important cultural sites in the area: Segesta; Erice; Egadi Islands; Trapani; Palermo (Monreale); and Selinunte are all within an hour’s drive. The hotel also offers the possibility of excursions and boat trips, and the chance to dive on the wonderful natural coast line near Scopello. The hotel opened in 1969 but was originally founded in the early 1700’s, on the site of an earlier Arab castle. Carefully restored, this family-run hotel maintains the traditions of hospitality and fine regional cooking. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
