Hotel Hauensteiner Hof

This family-run hotel in the Palatinate Forest lies next to Hauenstrein’s Shoe Museum. Surrounded by scenic hiking routes, it offers a country-style restaurant and cosy rooms with a balcony. Hotel-Hauensteiner-Hof offers colourfully decorated rooms with a minibar and TV. Each has a private bathroom with shower. The rustic Café-Restaurant Dorfstübel features traditional wooden furniture and serves a range of German dishes and wines, as well as lactose-free food on request. A varied breakfast buffet is provided, and there is a large beer garden. Paddle boats for the River Queich can be hired just 900 metres from the hotel, and there is a children’s adventure playground. Free parking is provided. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from January to December. Tuesday by arrangement possible. Breakfast is served every morning.
