About this hotel
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa sits on Kauai's south shore, a large-scale resort property anchoring the island's hospitality landscape. The hotel combines accommodation with a full spa facility and multiple dining options typical of the Hyatt grand-resort format. The property draws a mixed clientele of leisure travellers and those seeking a base for exploring Kauai's outdoor activities, from snorkeling to hiking the nearby trails. External validation comes via Forbes Travel Guide, which recognized the property as a Forbes Travel Guide Property in 2026. The Hyatt brand presence signals consistency in service standards and amenities. The location on Kauai's quieter south shore appeals to guests wanting island access without the tourism density of the north coast.
