Brienz Youth Hostel

Youth Hostel Brienz is located on the banks of Lake Brienz, a scenic 15-minute walk from the Brienz Train Station. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, available on the terrace overlooking the lake. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The private and shared rooms are decorated in wooden panelling and all have views of the surrounding Alpine scenery. Shared bathrooms are on the same floor. It is possible to store bikes in the covered area. A small children’s playground and barbecue facilities are located in the garden. The cosy lounge has a fireplace and games corner, and there is a small library at Youth Hostel Brienz. A kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and kettle is provided for all guests. In the cellar you can play table football and table tennis is available in the garden. It is possible to organise steam-boat trips on the lake and up to the Jungfrau Mountain. Trains from Brienz connect to Berne in 90 minutes. Interlaken is 16 km away and is reachable by train. Please inform Brienz Youth Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time.
