About this hotel

Towering over the western edge of Victoria Harbour, W Hong Kong has no shortage of bragging rights. Not only does the hotel boast the highest rooftop pool in the city (where it throws epic parties all summer long), but it’s also home to a delicious Chinese restaurant, international DJ performances, designer rooms and one of the best afternoon teas in town. From top to bottom, the 393-room address exudes whimsical wonder in its larger-than-life décor. Designed by Yasumichi Morita of Japan’s Glamorous Co. and Nic Graham of G+A in Australia, the property’s enchanted forest theme comes alive with twinkling timber LED lights, oversized mosquito sculptures (designed by Australian James Angus), black-and-white holograms and sky-high ceilings lined with woodland motifs. The dazzling experience begins in the lobby, where a 130-foot-tall twig column appears to grow like a vine up the side of the hotel and glass bubble elevators provide unforgettable views of Hong Kong’s dense and colorful shipping docks.
