Jordanian hospitality and a multi-colored tree of life tapestry twisted from Bedouin fabric greet you at the entrance before descending through the glowing red Siq-style hallway, inspired by the rose-colored sandstone canyon you pass through when going into UNESCO World Heritage Site Petra. Such bold colors and design could border on garish, but the hotel is tastefully grounded in the history and culture of its surroundings without being stuck in the past.
