For this reason, the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel sees a mostly suit and tie crowd during the week, when the space is filled with guests taking advantage of the full afternoon tea service or sipping cocktails at the Crystal Bar. Rooms are large (most are over 500 square feet) and contemporary in design, with masculine touches like zebrawood- and marble-clad bathrooms and tech gadgets such as electronic panels for controlling light and temperature or oversized flat-screen TVs. Be sure to make time to visit the hotel’s gym and spa, which has a movement studio for practicing yoga and a dramatic indoor swimming pool anchored by a full-wall screen that loops black and white movies.
