The Mansion On O Street

As one of the Smithsonians top five historic venues to explore in the world, the Mansion on O Street offers over 100 one-of-a-kind rooms and suites in a restored townhouse that also serves as a museum and artists residence. Outfitted with antiques and furnishings from all around the world, guests can marvel at teakwood soaking tubs from Italy or a shower made from an English telephone booth. Discover unique hidden surprises in each room with over 70 hidden doors to explore throughout the property. The mansion has hosted CEOs, dignitaries, celebrities and scientists and has been the inspiration for a number of songs, paintings and even legislation crafted on-site. Each room has been uniquely decorated with fine art, antiques, and furnishings from all ends of the earth, and designed with style, flair, and imagination.
