Seehotel Bären

Overlooking Lake Brienz and the Bernese Alps, Seehotel Bären is located directly on the lake shore in the scenic village of Brienz. It features free Wi-Fi and a lake view restaurant serving regional Swiss specialties with a beautiful lakeside terrace. Rooms at the Seehotel are individually decorated in bright Mediterranean colours and feature antique furniture. To ensure a quiet ambiance, there are no TVs in the rooms. Each room has a CD player, and a wide range of CDs and books can be borrowed. The Seehotel is known for its unique collection of paintings, posters, and other works of art. A jazz festival takes place during July and August and guests can enjoy the free concerts in the restaurant. Free parking is available on site. Please note that the restaurant is closed from 21 October 2019 until 12 April 2020. If you expect to arrive after 21:00, please inform Seehotel Bären in advance. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the off-season periods (between mid September and mid June, except of public holidays). A half board menu with Indian, Ayurvedic or Swiss cuisine is available on request.
