Opened in July 2024 in the sun-drenched foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Park Hyatt Marrakech feels more like a private estate than a hotel. You arrive through a grove of olive trees with the ochre-toned buildings rising from the landscape like something carved, not constructed. Inside, the luxury hotel is a study in refined Moroccan craftsmanship where zellige tilework, hand-carved plaster and bronze lanterns cast dappled shadows across serene, open-air courtyards. Many of the 130 spacious and hushed accommodations open to a private terrace with views of snow-capped peaks or the hotel’s manicured gardens. The mood is warm minimalism with local materials, modern lines and a subtle sense of luxury that never shouts. Days here are spent floating in the trio of pools, teeing off at the adjacent Al Maaden Golf Course or lingering over mezze and mint tea at one of the hotel’s three dining outlets.
