The Hotel is an old house, built in times where the upper class of Santiago lived in these quiet and peaceful neighborhoods. Today, this location has become a central quarter, close to shoppings and landmarks such as the Costanera Center and the Metro Los Leones, maintaining the safety and beauty, both characteristic of this neighborhood, mixed in a tourist, commercial and residential area. Common areas with colourful regional-style décor and rooms with private balconies can be enjoyed only 4 blocks from the bus stop. There is a spacious living room with a billiard table and comfortable wicker chairs. Intiwasi Hotel is 15 blocks from picturesque San Cristobal Hill and 4 blocks from Los Leones Subway Station. The tour desk can provide tips for visiting the area and arrange car rental. Air-conditioned rooms at Intiwasi are styled with warm colours, regional tapestries and wood furnishings. All of them have flat-screen cable TV and private bathrooms with toiletries. A full buffet breakfast with coffee and regional jams is served daily. Guests can enjoy it in the living room or in the patio. Santiago’s restaurant and entertainment area is only 4 blocks away. Please note, guests must inform their flight details and arrival time, specially if arriving after midnight or early in the morning. LOCAL TAX LAW. Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19% To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
