Hosteria Rose Cottage

Hosteria Rose Cottage offers beautiful views of Otavalo and the surrounding volcanoes. It boasts an on-site restaurant and fully furnished apartments and houses with private terraces. Each house features attractive, modern décor and is equipped with a balcony and a private bathroom and toilet. Some units feature fireplaces and have their own seating areas. All are set in gardens with hammocks where guests can relax. Guests can also make use of the library. International cuisine is served at the restaurant, and the breakfast is included free of charge. Guests can enjoy free of charge tennis , volleyball or table tennis, and a childrens playground as well as a small fitness centre. Subject to booking at least 24 hours in advance and extra payment of $5 per person (minimum $15), guests can also use our jacuzzi. You can enjoy walks to the nearby Taxopamba Falls, just 45 minutes away, or a walk along the nearby stream to Otavalo. Please note that the closest main road junction to reach the Hosteria is from the Panamericana at Otavalo. Guests must follow the signpost saying Lagunas de Mojanda at the traffic light on the main road, and fork left immediately after taking the left turn uphill towards the lakes. Continue uphill for about 3 km and find us on the right hand side just after the Escuela Gonzales Suarez school. It takes about 10 minutes to reach Rose Cottage by car from the Panamericana at Otavalo highway. Please note guests must advise the property at least 24 hours in advance if they want to use of the hot tub/jacuzzi. There is a charge of $5 per person, minimum $10. Guests who stay for at least 2 nights in rooms costing more than $50 per night can use the jacuzzi once free of charge, subject always to booking it direct with the property at least 24 hours in advance.
