About this hotel

Castello Di Petroia is a historic site made of several mediaeval buildings based around a 12th-century castle, set between Gubbio and Perugia. It offers unique rooms and free parking. The Petroias 3 buildings, the Castellare Maggiore, Castellare Minore and Mastio preserve original architectural features. The castle was the birthplace of Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino in the 15th century. The rooms feature antique furniture, exposed wood-beam ceilings and old prints or paintings from the 18th-century. Some rooms also have a sofa-bed, a hydromassage bath, and sweeping views across the valley. Castello Di Petroia is also a large farm with typical white cattle. The gardens feature a sun terrace with swimming pool.
