About this hotel
It’s hard to imagine a place that feels more secluded and peaceful — or more stunning — than Amanyara, an ultra-luxury resort on Providenciales, one of eight inhabited islands that make up Turks and Caicos. The remote-feeling resort is next to the 18,000-acre Northwest Point Marine National Park but is just a 25-minute drive from the isle’s airport. There’s no need to worry about a lack of things to do here, as Amanyara is brimming with activities, from snorkeling trips and whale watching to outdoor yoga and kayaking. In truth, though, this is a place designed for guests to relax in luxury and utterly disconnect from the outside world, be it on the private half-mile white sand beach or on a villa’s quiet sun deck. Unlike other Caribbean resorts, the look and feel of Amanyara are decidedly Asian, with an indoor/outdoor aesthetic reflected in the modern pagoda-style pavilions that dot the property.
