My B&B is a place that most guests find relaxing and friendly. I do not aim to be the most modern as the focus is always on guest comfort. Cleanliness, a good shower and fresh wholesome food for breakfast are the most important aspects that I feel ensure that this is provided. I firmly believe that everyone should have equal opportunity which is why my house has many little touches to enable guests to stay that may otherwise have difficulty. For example, in 2014 I had a lift installed; this was to ensure that everyone can access all the guest rooms, not just those on the ground floor. I have purchased many little extra devices that are available for guest use - from an alarm that vibrates under a pillow for guests that have a hearing difficulty, to braille signage on certain products to assist those with visual restrictions. All I ask of my quests is that, if they cant see what they require, please can they ask me and I will try and obtain it - that is if I do not already have it!! Most reasonable requests will be accommodated. Located in Abingdon, Abbey Guest House features a shared lounge, garden and free WiFi throughout the property.
